Good day. This morning around 5h45 me and my two kids ages 3 and 12 years took our changes to see if McDonald's Durbanville is open for sit down inside the restaurant.
As we approached the door, it was still closed with a notice on the door " Trading hours Monday - Sunday 6:00 - 23;00" So we decided to take a seat outside and wait until it opens. There was staff wandering around that saw us outside in the cold, but no one took the initiative to attend to us or even just to come and clarify. At 6:05 I got worried. I ask the guy who come out to mop the floor outside about the opening times, he said the doors only open at 6H30.
I then told him about the notice on the door he said it's meant for drive through. I then I asked him if it is possible to call the manager in charge. He polity said, yes went inside and gave my massage. I waited another 5mins, took a walk around the drive through, leaving my daughter with our bags, trying to see if I can talk to someone.
Came back just to found that no manager has make an appearance yet. I disturbed the guy again asking him about the manager. His answer to me was " I don't know ma 'am, the manager was busy. So, now I want to know what do I do in this situation?
It is clear to me that we are not that important.
I took a picture of the notice and it definitely doesn't state "drive through" Can you please clarify what the real trading hours are? What was more important that the manager couldn't assist us?

When I arrived there was cashier's on both tills so I went and stood behind a customer that was placing an order at the first till. The customer was being served by the manager at the till.
After the customer's order was taken, I moved closer to place my order, I greeted her (the manager at the till) and she just walked away without greeting me back or communicating with me. I stood there and waited for her to return, mind you I was with my 2 young daughters. I have recently downloaded the McDonald's app and had points to spend so while waiting for her to come take my order I scanned the QR code to redeem a small McFizz at the till. She came back looked at my order on the screen and walked away, still not communicating with me.
My daughter's were starting to getting impatient at this point. Then to my surprise a commotion started at the kitchen, the manager was shouting at one of the staff members in a very heated way which is a behaviour that I feel a family restaurant should not expose children to. After shouting at the staff members she came to the till where I was standing waiting to be served for over 10 minutes and asked the staff who placed the order at the till refering to the order I had scanned from the McDonald's App and nobody responded to her. She then walked away still not communicating with me.
I decided to leave, yes I forfeited my points from the scanned order and the sad part is my daughters did not get to order their meals.
How does a restaurant manager display such atrocious behaviour, this is the person that is supposed to be leading by example. The least she could have done was to inform me that she did not want to serve me instead of treating me like a nuisance and wasting my time.

Dear McDonald's
I would like to leave a complaint. I was scrolling on Instagram and saw a post that was by the McDonald's south africa account and it said that the special was R38.
I was like okay this is a good special. I clicked on it and it took me to where I needed to put in my details, and so I did. I filled it in and it took me to a payment website, I filled it in again. When I was done it said that on my next order I can choose whatever and it will ship in 6-7 working days, it was a delivery website.
After that it took me out leaving with no checkout or anything.
I was so unhappy because my grandma sent that money for me to buy food and now I am so hungry with nothing.
I'm so disappointed in myself and the advertisement. Please email me back, will really appreciate it
